as the Opposition..

it seems that Jamaica has never seen a more active and agressive opposition leadership..

rampant amnesia aside, the PNP is easily the most agitating opposition in Jamaica's history.. truly the type of Opposition that Jamaica needs.

they do such a great opposing job, this combination migh just be Jamaica's economic and social remedy.. A well meaning, but too "politically honest" for his own good, blundering PM, and a agitating opposition, craving for power.

for doing such a great (Opposition party) job, it may not be a bad idea for Jamaicans to keep the PNP out of the leadership party role and in the Opposition party for a few more election cycles...

exactly.. but with the great job the PNP doing as opposition, they may need (much) more time in Opposition to yield the benefits.

1980s PNP Opposition:

By 1983 Eddie Seaga was in deep trouble
There were Island Wide Strikes and Menlie had a Shadow Government in Heroes Park.

Even in 1970s the PNP Opposition and the Unions used to lead strikes and was very vocal.
