cakes, the old testament is mainly the jewish religious texts;

they present the same problems as any other texts which some mis-educated ones take literally...

there are also texts in religious scriptures which are very informative & valuable from the standpoint of gaining wisadom & ethics (the book of proverbs in the bible immediately comes to mind)...

to me, hitchens represents atheist fundamentalism in the same way the evangelistas of the extreme right-wing bible belt represent religious fundamentalism;
in other words they have decided the other side is the enemy & locked off all openness to reason;

hitler, stalin & mussolini did a great deal of damage without being religiously motivated in any way;
it is simply a myth that the problems of earth boils down to religion;

you have to realize that religion is far more nuanced than you or hitchens give it credit for...granted that many things written in scripture are clearly not literally true, some are immoral, illegal, unjust, etc.
that certain ones misinterpret or hijack religion for their own purposes is another matter;
both sides of this ideological war need to open their minds to conscious reasoning

So far there is no indication that he had accomplices.
He got his multiple shot clips from the United States which not too long ago discontinued the law that made them illegal. He had all the firepower he needed.

I think he wants the world to think that he is not alone in his crazy way of thinking so he told the police that there are a couple of cells of like minded people with whom he is/was affiliated.

Hasn't anyone noticed it's the same old FORMULA?

There seems to be a formula for virtually everything - repeating sequences and themes on the basis of: 'if it works why change it? If it aint broke, why fix it?'

Norway's another example of this and the classic formula: crazy gunman (immediately vilified by the media) and shots being fired simultaneously by professional killer(s) (according to witness, who will be largely ignored).

The complicity of the forces in the shadows is hidden by the 'lone gunmen' formula.

The definition of a 'conspiracy' is 'an agreement between two or more persons to commit a crime' and so if you can pin the blame on a single person you hide the wider conspiracy right from the start - and literally by definition.

The same formula as per Siran Siran, James Earl Ray, Lee Harvey Oswald, Mark Chapman etc, etc.

The next thing will be the police or his lawyer 'confirms' that the guy is crazy.
