Coworkers who nitpick

Bwoy...mi an some ppl will neva gree ie nuh...

imagine..last week as mi normally do mi submit some reports at the end of the day. Is only one day a week I go in di office. In the report, I left out 2 <span style="font-weight: bold">very </span>minor details. One deliberately, the other mi jus did forget but it was not of grave importance.Yesterday mi go in di office fine note wid big question marks asking what happen to the two pieces of information...She has my number and we correspond when we need to. All she had to do was pick up the phone and ask me instead of leffing note for me knowing I would not see it til one week later.

So mi politely write di answer pan di same piece a paper an leff it fi her read when she come in to work di following day (today). Glad seh mi wudden be in office so mi wudden haffi si her.

BTW dis woman is not my boss. She is the team lead for one of my clients but other than that she has no authority over me.

Ah mean, why some people so damn nuff?

Some people do things like that to appear relevant.

There could be two possible reasons why she left the note:

1. She didn't think it was important enough to warrant a phone call and figured you'd see it the next time you are in the office anyway.

2. She has a beef with you coming in the office only one day a week, is jealous and is trying to drive home her point of your needing to be at work more often or important updates are grossly delayed.

Either way, by you responding in the same manner either brought you down to her level, or made absolutly no impact, as she goes to work every day.. and would have seen your note without delay...but she has made her point by upsetting you.

This is an interesting response and not one I would have considered.

i have had almost every office problem imaginable and think it sounds like beef. How did your co-worker even know two things were left out if she was not going the extra mile to track your work?
