A recent study has shown that once you can get ten percent of a given population solidly behind an idea or movement (like revolution) , that idea will spread like wildfire and succeed.

Anything below that percentage will NEVER succeed.

An unshakable belief is one that the believer cannot be dissuaded from believing.

An example would be any revolutionary movement that achieves 10% popularity such as in Cuba or, more recently Egypt that are unstoppable because they have achieved that 10% ignition point: ten percent of the populace holding beliefs that cannot be changed by contrasting opinion or belief.

That ten percent has a network of family, friends, co-workers, neighbors who are then drawn into these same beliefs.

Of course the ideas of that ten percent must be valid or they would have been rejected long before the beliefs could attain that ten percent necessary for society-wide ignition.

This &quot;cadre&quot; principle has long been acknowledged by leftist movements.

It is not news to me.

The assumption is that new information, if it leads one to change one's views, it will lead people to change how they behave. This is not true.

That fits perfectly with what that study concluded.
IF you do not get 10%, your idea goes nowhere.

Hence fewer than 10% of the American public thinks that there is no difference between the end game of the two political parties and continues to participate in the electoral charade.

Fewer than 10% refuse to watch, read and listen to the corporate media and so the country stumbles along from point of disinformation to point of disinformation generally believing what is told to them.

There are endless scenarios that apply.

Nonsense. Don't even try that. A babe in the womb knows that the media is full of lies. It's many of your more insane conspiracies that not even 10% of the people on here will believe. Even more remarkable is how unshakable you are even in the face of facts that do not originate from the media. For example, you post this wild idea that a jet did not crash into the Pentagon. I tell you that there were hundreds of witnesses who saw it happen while in driving by on I-395, a highway from which the Pentagon is visible. I KNOW people who saw this, I didn't read it in the paper. Yet still.... And then there is the nettlesome problem of trying to explain what happened to the passengers who boarded Flight 77 if, as you say, it didn't crash into the Pentagon. No answer.
