TORONTO - There are reports of a shooting along the route of Toronto's annual Caribbean Carnival parade.
Several Toronto media outlets are reporting three people were sent to hospital after gunshots rang out early Saturday evening.
They quote emergency officials as saying a man and a woman suffered from multiple gunshot wounds and were taken to hospital in critical condition.
A third man suffered a minor wound in the incident that reportedly occurred near Ontario Place after the parade took place.
Toronto police have not commented, although Ontario's police watchdog the Special Investigations Unit has been called in.
