i can't think of any....

common misconception:
the rastaman is a mental midget, rabid anti-gay who will attack without warning based on his low-intelligence misinterpretation of words...

reality:
the rastaman is a peaceful man who wouldn't resort to violence without a cause (but was in fact the target of violence by the state)...gave jamaica much culture yet is a standing laughingstock due to the population's ignorance & bias...

so unfortunately, this joke yah get bun out

In the States there are what are called &quot;Polish&quot; jokes in which the Polish are portrayed as being stupid for reasons I don't know.

(That's Polish as in people from Poland not floor polish.)

When I was a kid there were &quot;moron&quot; jokes.

Example of a Polish joke:

as a yaadman i overstand the cultural bias in jamaica against rastafari people;

male prostitution, although practiced mainly by non-rases &amp; non-dreadlocks are labeled as &quot;rent-a-dreads&quot;, etc.; we are used to it...
reminds me of when i first came to NY and went to a mostly white school...
&quot;black people&quot; jokes were very popular &amp; slide-spittingly funny...
i even remember one of them;

As a person who authored a few Rastafarian jokes I mean no harm. I had to put a big whole disclaimer in the book, for example, to convey that the character in the story does not reflect the traits of all Rastafarians for fear dem lick out gainst mi .

But I must say, true to life, I have encountered Rastas that would say the very same thing presented in J_kid's joke.
