As to the importance of a report in the star.
They will hve a news report to quote to support the story line.
We can't always be that slow that it take us so long to see the underlying theme.
No wonder murdoch got away with so much.
It is his recognition of the support he will get from those who 'know'. </div></div>

The papers here are also full of this kind of c@@p. Homosexuality is illegal in most of Africa, including Ghana, and the vast majority of Africans will fight tooth and nail to prevent the law being changed.
But whenever there's a news story (of whatever value or quality) involving gays or lesbians, it can easily make the fron page headlines.

My own son here who writes for the <span style="font-style: italic">Daily Graphic</span> wrote such a story recently and they put it on the fron page. He posted the link on his facebook site and I commented &quot;These people don't get tired of beating up on these folks&quot; and he responded NO COMMENT!
To the Black Culture in general, the 'gay' concept is very indigestible, to put it politely. IT'S THE CULTURE!
