Describe better off. If it is about the acquisition of material gains then yes. But my quality of life is in no way better than theirs was back in the day.

I kind of wanted to leave it open so folks could decide for themselves what &quot;better off&quot; meant.

I agree that my quality of life is not better than theirs.

I think I am happier than my parents were.

I am not sure my children are happier than I was as a child.

I know that I am better off than my parents were -- financially and a more comfortable life. I cannot say that I am happier than my parents since I cannot measure happiness. My mother was a very happy woman who was much loved by her children and her peers.

My parents had a wonderful and fulfilling life which had its rewards and down times. My life as it is... fantastic.

Bway dis is a tough wan .. yes I am financially better off than my parents but seeing the quality of life my Mom is living, I would pay any money to live that today.

Just to get up everyday and have fresh air and warm sunshine that we take for granted is such a blessing. Mi modda even have better health care dan mi \o/

Only financially.

Dont know botu being important, it is jus ah fact. Had opportunities that that they were very instrumental in them being available, and I took advantage of those open doors.
