No foul play was suspected as of late Sunday, police said, in the death of megachurch pastor Zachery Tims, who was found dead in a New York City hotel room on Friday afternoon.
The New York City medical examiner has yet to publish the cause of death, according to the Associated Press.
Tims, 42, was senior pastor of New Destiny Christian Center in Apopka, Fla., which he founded in 1996 with just six members. The growing church now has about 8,000 members. Tims also appeared on TBN's "Praise the Lord" program.
New Destiny's Web site claimed Tims' audio and video messages have reached over 100 million homes worldwide.
Since the news of his death first broke, supporters have poured out their condolences on Facebook and Twitter.

He has a Bachelor's degree in Accounting from Towson State University and a Bachelor's degree in Theology from Maranatha Bible College.
Tims has written his life's story in a book titled "It's Never Too Late," which was published by Charisma House Publications in 2006.
