Toxicology results have shown "no illegal substances" in Amy Winehouse's system at the time of her death, according to her family.

Neighbour said he heard screaming, howling and drums beating in her house in the early hours before she was found dead.

Maybe that's why she died.

I have heard old folks say in reference to alcoholics that you need to ease up off it a little bit less at a time and not quit all at once.

Could be withdrawal from whatever and all she used to do that got her.

If all the drum beating and howling was going on, it sounds like she was in the midst of one serious panic attack and needed something to smooth her out a bit.

Not sure if <span style="font-weight: bold">more drugs</span> is what she needed Tulip.

If she was a regular cocaine user at some point <span style="font-style: italic">for example</span>, that would have damaged her heart in ways that may not always be immediately apparent to the user and can eventually cause sudden death later on...even if she had quit.

This is a very sad story all round. I enjoyed her music.

She had a Section 20 postmortem, which implies that the coroner believes “there is reasonable cause to suspect that a person has died a violent or unnatural death or in any other way which would require an inquest.”

Alcoholism physically changes the functionality of the heart.
It I'd the only known form of addiction in which the patients have to be medicated to avoid heart failure and possible death.
They usually suffer rapid heart beat during Which the heart looses it's abillity to pump.
Since it cannot be filled during these periods of tachicardia.

I was not trying ro say she needed to go do a line of coke (if that was her drug).

I was basically saying that whatever she abused should not have been stopped dramatically without some sort of &quot;legitimate&quot; assistance.

Admittedly, I don't know anything about these conditions. However, you can kind of catch the old peoples meaning sometimes like if a person is an alcoholic and goes dry, they might have a heart attack. Ease off until their body adjusts to them stopping. Regardless, if I beat drums and howl one night, I want somebody to call 911 because something is wrong with me.

Anyway, I liked her music and too bad someone so young lived so hard.
