Goh dis mawning fi pick up mi new eyeglasses. Two attendant ah handle dat pawt ah tings. Soh wan man deh wid wan an ah hav har bring him fi try on every different pair ah glasses him si. Wish him did goh duh dat while him did ah wait him turn. Anyhow dat bad an noh soh bad. Di ting dat really gat mi was dis ediat man, an him ediat wife took up 45minutes of mi valuable time ah ask di attendant pure ediat questions whe dem could ah did fine out if dem did tek di time fi dun som research, or read dem own insurance policy document, because das whe di attendant basically mentioned tuh dem sey all ah dat in deh as shi ah read it tuh dem. At di end of it all, both ah dem ongle wanted reading glasses, whe dem decide fi goh get ah CVS Drug Store caa it cheaper.

Now all poore likkle ole mi wanted was less dan 5mm fi get mi glasses an lef di place. Mi noh inna town, soh is nat like sey mi hav di option fi sey, "screw dis", an lef den com back inna week.

Before you go post it on the company website you post it here?
Action like this only encourage them kind of behavior.
Mi sure after all of 45 minutes you should get enough into to make it stick.
That is intentional in most cases.

I would take the glasses and return it a few days after with some spurious complaints.
Then find dome other place to fill the prescription.

Good advise Doc. Usually mi would goh bring di extra long wait tuh dem attention. I truly have done that in the past, and will take your advice to post mi dissatisfaction pan dem web site.

The funny ting is. This is my first time there (well second, if yuh count di eye test). Mi just changed tuh dem recently, pan di recommendation of me personal Physician, caa mi tell him sey di former place did not know whe dem was doing, caa after 3 tries dem still can not get my prescription correct. Di old place was fast, but dem was incompetent, an mi phrased it in a nice way whem mi told them so (mi getting mellow ah mi get older ah guess).

Dis new place may bi slow, but dem did ah hell of an outstanding job in getting mi prescription correct. People face noh look fuzzy tuh mi noh more. Das why mi did cut dem som slack, tiday.

JKid the same thing happen to mi last week when mi guh mi daughter school to pay the tuition. Mi stand up pan a line wid 4 people behind me, while the parent that was
in the office was chatting about random stuff to the secretary. Mi wait and wait
and wait and wait while the parent a go on and on about nothing.

And the eediat secretary tan up and see di line and made no move to run the ooman out of the office.

Mek mi tell yuh seh is only cause a god why mi never tell the parent fi get the hale out of the office. \o/ I wasn't going to work that morning otherwise mi sure mi wouldan march in and tell her to &quot;get the hale out&quot;

After mi reach in and tell the secretary that parents don't seem to know when to leave the office so she should stop take them without appointments, the ooman look pan me and tell me that she not important enough for parents to make appts to see her

Same thing happened to me. I made an appointment in <span style="font-weight: bold"><span style="color: #FF0000">APRIL</span></span> for August at my dentist's office. I got reminders from the office by 2 phone calls and 2 emails. I got to the office 5 minutes before the appointed time, then waited 45 minutes. I finally walked over to the receptionist and told her that I was leaving. As I turned away, the dental hygienist came to the desk and said, &quot;Oh, are you leaving?&quot; I told her that 45 minutes was about 20 minutes too long to wait, and they could make another appointment for another day.
My time is worth as much as theirs. Humph!

some people just need more time than others, maybe they didnt understand their insurance and just needed to talk to a person about it.

looks to me like the attendant was showing good customer service, she wasnt to know how long those customers would be, or that your case wouldnt take long. your complaint seems a bit unfair, unless im missing something.

I agree with MGee that they may have not understood their insurance policy or else they would have started out buying reading glasses at CVS in the first place.

On the Gen note though, I would have had to interrupt. I would have done it in a polite manner though and not tapping my watch. &quot;Ah excuse me, hope everyone's day is going well. Maybi mi likkle dense, but isn't dat di exact reason why di insurance companies provide an 800 toll free number?

There was an office full ah people an di place was closing in 2 hours. What about good customer service fi di rest ah wi? Dat is pure unadulterated inefficiency.

I appreciate when a company is all over &quot;quality customer service&quot;, but not at the expense of other customers. That's one sure way (of many) to lose customers.
