Probe Deepens Into Negril Arrests

The Westmoreland police are intensifying their probe into yesterday morning’s arrest of three men in Negril.
The men were arrested following the seizure of two firearms, 114 pounds of ganja and five knives during a raid at a night club in Negril, Westmoreland.
The Constabulary Communication Network (CCN) said a team of officers from the Westmoreland Police Division were on an operation when they visited the night club.
The police said one Taurus .45 pistol with ten .45 cartridges, a Glock 9mm pistol with 15 9mm rounds, as well as the ganja and knives were seized.
The men’s identities are being withheld pending further investigations by the Negril Police.
