My job is rather specialized and with the publishing biz in the decline getting another related job would be next to impossible. So some re-training will be needed. here in Ontario the government has a program in which it will re-train &quot;older&quot; workers who meet certain requirements but you must be unemployed to be considered. This training is supposedly for jobs that are in demand. So i guess i have to wait 'til mi get mi pink slip before mi mek a move. </div></div>

Without reading the rest of responses.. I think you have just answered your own question here. I think it is much wiser to stay put.
