This why I dont miss Jamaica.... The frustration and helplessness at the overberance of authroty.. Get on the wrong end dawg nyam u supper..

At the moment the price of electricity has gone out of all proportions and the bills seem to lack any connection to reality...

A $20k power bill? They could come fix the meter, shut it off, or figure out what went wrong.

I would get the power in somebody else name or move before I paid it. Catch me if you can! I'd ride my 7 years on this one waiting for them to resolve it.

Maybe my actions would be a mistake, but I can assure you that I would not pay Georgia Power $20,000. It's just really not going to happen.

I guess my first step would have been to lawyer up though. His situation needs some serious discussion with somebody schooled in the laws of the land in which he lives.

Thank God it's not that bad here!!! I use a lot of electricity and my bill is about $40/month.

I don't use that much and it ranges between $80 and $120 per month.

Why whenever there is an issue in Jamaica u all compare it to where u all are ?

Why when ever there is a victim in Jamaica the presumption is he was doing something wrong ?

At the moment the JPS bills have gone fantasticly high.. There may be a good reason for it, but the victims of this are not the cause...
