Wali Farah, a Somalian. Community worker running in Ottawa South against the Premier.



Kathleen Mathurin, running in Scarbrough Centre against the other black woman for the PCs, Carol Williams. Not sure of Kathleen's heritage, she's Canadian born.

<span style="font-weight: bold">election fatigue</span> - too many elections in recent years at federal, municipal, provincial levels
<span style="font-weight: bold">election bait and switch</span> - u vote for one thing and get another, e.g. Rob Ford
<span style="font-weight: bold">mistrust</span> - there's really no difference among any of the politicians, all they want is to be elected
<span style="font-weight: bold">wrong leader </span>- u like a party but u hate the leader, so u cyaan badda

there are probably more reasons...

I have a feeling that Rob Ford is yet to have his defining moment and redeem himself..
then again, I also believed in Santa Clause..

They need to find a way for people to vote on-line. The whole travel to the polls and mark an x with a pencil is soooo 14th century.

So the Premier of Ontario has appointed Kathleen Wynne to the municipal affairs portfolio, where she'll be dealing with municipal leaders like Rob Ford.


Kathleen is gay. Wonder how that's gonna work with Rob and Doug...
