mi have a jamaican dinner fundraiser - mi waan di food and mi happy fi contribute but mi nuh waan haffi dress up and sit thru speeches and presentations

den dere is a film festival weh dem spread across theaters across town. between road construction and bad parking and not wanting to be on di bus a traipse all over town, mi may just wait fi dem come pon netflix

mi lucky if mi git up and mek the walk a few yards to mi local coffee shop. i guess today's mood is LAZY! can smaddy fedex mi some food?

Afternoon Miss Pie and the rest of the Ja.commers.

I got my chores out the way early and then went to a plant sale with a friend at 9. I wanted a few additional house plants.

I need to go mail a few things to my parents, but I think the post office closest to me is closed today.

I know the one in Cumberland Mall is open until 9 on Saturdays so I'll just swing over that way to my old stomping grounds. It's so nice outside - sunny and not too hot. I'll take Butterfly with me so we can visit her old dog park.

I'm giving some thought to running the carpet cleaner before we leave to freshen things up and give it time to dry. (Sunday dinner is here tomorrow.)
