i was in jamaica in the 1980s when water was diverted from up in st. thomas to liquidate kingston. not a water war per se, but still the depriving of one area to supply a more powerful and needier area.

TALKS on forming a new Libyan government would be completed in two weeks, National Transitional Council leader Mustafa Abdel Jalil said, as the interim government moved to end controversy over dictator Muammar Gaddafi's body and the circumstances of his death.

Mr Abdel Jalil added to the confusion surrounding Gaddafi's death by speculating that he may have been killed by regime loyalists at the scene to silence him.

''We have to ask: Who has an interest in Gaddafi not being put on trial?'' he said. ''Those who were assisting him.''

In Misrata - where Gaddafi's remains and those of his son, Mutassim, and former army chief Abu Bakr Yunis were put on public display in a refrigerated meat locker - officials ended the spectacle as the corpses rapidly decomposed.

''That's enough,'' said one of the guards. ''He's been causing us as much trouble dead as he did alive.''

Mr Abdel Jalil said the transitional council has established a committee to determine what to do with the remains and will follow a religious ruling, or fatwa.

Later, a Misrata military council official said Gaddafi, Muatassim and a top aide had been buried at a secret location.

In a text message read to The Associated Press, spokesman Ibrahim Beitalmal was quoted as saying the burial took place at 5am local time yesterday.

The information could not be independently verified.

At the weekend, another of Gaddafi's sons, Saif al-Islam, vowed from an undisclosed location to avenge his father.

''We continue our resistance,'' he said in an audio message broadcast by al-Rai, a Syrian television station.

''I say go to hell, you rats, and NATO behind you. This is our country; we live in it, and we die in it and we are continuing the struggle.''

Minutes after tragic assassination of Libyan leader Muammar al-Gaddafi, Venezuelan leader Hugo Chavez in a statement said "Libya has assassinated Gaddafi. This is another outrage. I was talking with Raul Castro [Cuban leader]. He was telling me Gadhafi is going to get killed for sure. Regrettably, Gadhafi's death has been confirmed. He was murdered. Well, this is another attempt against life. What else can I say? ... I will remember him all of my life as a great fighter, a revolutionary and a martyr."

Hugo Chavez had defended Muammar Gaddafi since the start of the Nato led uprising against the Libyan leader's regime in February, and accused NATO and USA of using the conflict and disorder to gain control over Libya's oil reserves. Hugo Chavez has refused to recognize the new Libyan regime, the National Transition Council, and has ridiculed Libya's new UN representative as a 'puppet' and a 'dummy'. Venezuela

President Hugo Chavez was awarded the Al-Kadhafi International Prize for Human Rights in 2004, a prize granted by the former Libyan leader on its glorious days. Cuba legend Fidel Castro and Nicaragua's Daniel Ortega have also won the award. Chavez would return the compliment later that month when Gadhafi visited Venezuela, presenting the Libyan leader with a replica of the sword that belonged to South American independence hero Simon Bolivar, one of the greatest honors in Venezuela.

Meanwhile, Cuba's revolutionary leader Fidel Castro [85] has denounced NATO for its role in overthrowing Muammar al-Gaddafi saying the "brutal military alliance has become the most perfidious instrument of repression the history of humanity has known."

Castro also expressed indignation at the murder of Gaddafi and the subsequent treatment of his body, which he said was "kidnapped and exhibited like a trophy of war, a conduct that violated the most elemental principles of Muslim norms and other religious beliefs."

Last month, the Cuba government pulled its diplomats from Libya and said it would not recognize the ruling National Transitional Council or any government established with the help of foreign intervention.

Following the brutal murder of Muammar al-Gaddafi, Western media are continuing propaganda demanding continuation of such assassination raising its fingers at a number of global leaders. America's cow-boy President Barack Obama has even given instigations of murdering the Syrian President Bashar al-Assad and Yemeni President, which very prominently proved that, United States is at the back of such extra-judicial murder of some of the rulers. In other words, American policymakers are abettors of all these brutalities and murders. Once Obama expressed his joy over murder of Libyan leader Muammar al-Gaddafi, it may not be wrong to conclude that, current atrocities and lawlessness in Libya, which include numerous forms of crime including abduction, rape, looting etc are also duly endorsed by Washington and Obama and his palls must be help equally responsible for all such murders and rapes in Libya as well as rest of the Arab and Muslim world.

After murdering Muammar al-Gaddafi, now American President Obama and his gang of culprits in Libya are trying to get rest of the members of Gaddafi family back in Libya and similarly murder them as Gaddafi. Some insider sources in NTC even hinted to media that, on return, Gaddafi's daughter "may face wrath of the angry Libyans and she may have to pay-back the debts of crime committed by her family, by being gang-raped before she would be brutally killed."

Algeria has categorically refused extraditing any of the members of Gaddafi family as Libya's National Transition Council [NTC] has repeatedly demanded their extradition for "facing trial".

In response to NTC calls, Algerian government said, "We will not extradite Gaddafi's relatives either to Libya or any other country. They were given refuge [in Algeria] on humanitarian grounds, and their status has not changed. The world has seen how Col. Gaddafi was slaughtered. We have respect for human life, and the ensuring security of Gaddafi's family is a matter of honor for us."

While the Americans and Westerners and their mercenaries in Libya are playing dirty with the dead body of Muammar al-Gaddafi, it is hinted that United States is taking secret preparations to grab Libya now as they grabbed Iraq few years back. If this turns true, the real challenge for Libyan people will start now to save the honor of their women from being raped and molested by naughty American soldiers [as they do in Iraq, Kuwait, Saudi Arabia, South Korea and as they did in Vietnam]. Libyans now should also guard their wealth from being looted by the Western pirates, led by NATO, United Nations and similar pro-West enterprises.

There is no reason for any patriotic Libyan to celebrate the brutal murder of Muammar al-Gaddafi. They must now, Libya has been actually invaded by the Westerners through their local mercenaries and with the murder of Gaddafi, only those looters from the West will get the un-confronted opportunity of not only looting Libya, but also raping and degrading the entire nation as the Westerners are doing in other countries.
