left di current mr ilp at work, went pick up few grocery
come back home fi find water main break.... smdh.
turn back around go buy water

I knew my nose was itching for a reason.

Afternoon Miss Pie and the rest of you chatty ja.commers.

I've had a crazy morning.from way early. Had a couple of friends come to town to go to the Jay-Z and Kanye West concert. (I did not go.) I get a call in the wee hours. They parked in a fake parking lot and their car was towed. (RMDE) I said park in a hotel garage or something with at least a moniker outside but noooooooo they had to find the cheapest spot in a mile radius from Philips. Anyway, that's sorted out now.

I cleaned and picked up groceries last night, and we just did the mani/pedi thing today. I finally tried threading and while I like the look, it hurt! I need a more skilled technician next time.

I hear the blender going in the kitchen. I should be a good hostess, but I'm staying right here in front of this laptop lol. I'm sure they are capable of concocting whatever it is without my help. I'll get up in a few after I recharge.

that not going to prevent it from hurting. the &quot;pain&quot; of threading is just the necessary evil of the excellent look when it done.

Somehow, the look is crisper yet more natural. That is how I would describe it. Yes, the hair grows back.

ILP, I have been told by some people that it's not supposed to hurt or that depending on they use it doesn't hurt. I don't know if they were lying or what, but I could not see how it could not hurt which is why I took so long to try it.

I guess pain really is relative. while i will not compare it to going for a bike ride...i dont find it &quot;painful&quot; at all. actually what pained me about wax was the bun up eyebrows or the 50/50 chance of getting too thin eyebrows. ahn then wax you haffi go back more often than threading.

I agree that waxing hurts too but not as much as threading did today. With waxing, I find if they hold the skin taut before ripping the hair out, my eyes don't tear up as much

When I used to tweeze, I would numb the area with ice first.

maybe u really need a new technician. my last two ladies were indian and they did a good job.

even in jamaica it was a half-indian lady that did it for me

they all hold the area taut and then rip out the hair ..sometimes the anticipation is worse than the actual deed why is why me sporting the unibrow
