Oh my goodness - double what I paid for!! So much

I enjoy Trung Nguyen coffee brewed in a phin, Vietnamese style. It's not easy to com by the Vietnamese coffee; I must buy it online. It's not inexpensive, so it's a treat when I buy it.

I bought some early last week. I ordered one (1) 425 gram can of Trung Nguyen Premium Blend ground coffee and a twin pack of (two / 2) 500 gram boxes of Trung Nguyen Gourmet Blend ground coffee, and a free one-ounce sample of Sumatra Lintong whole beans.

A large box arrived this morning... the box being far too large for this small order Hmmm
I opened it. OMG!
Inside was <span style="font-weight: bold">four (4) 500 gram boxes of Trung Nguyen Gourmet Blend ground coffee, two (2) cans of Trung Nguyen Premium Blend ground coffee, a large bag that is clearly several ounces worth of the free Sumatra Lintong whole beans <span style="text-decoration: underline">AND</span> another same-size bag of free Dalat Bourbon Arabica!!</span>


I called them and told them that they doubled my order, but a check online with my bank shows that they did not take more from my credit card. I asked them if they wanted all of the extra coffee back. They insist that they did not double my order.
I don't know how Vietnamese count..... but I know that I got double the amount of coffee that I ordered and paid for!

I'm gonna be on a huge caffeine high for a looong time!!!!!

you should have checked your balance first. now they're probably gonna charge you. i hope they do.

Wheel and come again? I did check my balance first, so I'd know what thy did or did not take. I called to clear up the confusion. I asked them to take back the extra coffee. I didn't ask for anything not due me. They apparently don't want to take back their unopened extra coffee. And they can't legally charge my credit card a second time; I already asked my bank. I did nothing wrong.

To clarify - I asked them if they were going to charge me, and they said no because they didn't send me extra coffee. (They did.)

Well, done is done, now.

I wanted to do the right thing and return the excess coffee. It's expensive. Failing that, I'd've paid for it, even though that would have hurt my purse this week. But they won't evn admit that they sent me extra coffee. dwl
Oh well...

Maybe. Their English was certainly limited - nearly as limited as my very scanty Vietnamese is!

Whatever the case, my conscience is clear, as I tried my best to clear up the mystery.

They had certain less expensive coffees on &quot;half-price sale&quot;. Now I wonder if their &quot;half price sale&quot; is really a &quot;Buy one, get one free&quot;... And if it applies to all of their coffees, and not just the ones so marked??

Anyhoo.....
I've got a six-moth supply of Vietnamese coffee!


So. Who wants to stop by for a cup of Vietnamese? It's like jet fuel...
