Company xmas parties..should i have bit my tongue?

a month ago they sent out invitations for the company xmas party.

since the new aquisition, we moved into new offices three weeks ago-they spent a ton of money renovating and so forth.

So one day i asked one of the office guys where the driver bathroom was-his answer
"beside the trucks"
meanwhile, when you walk into the offices, behind the locked door is a beautiful bathroom-i mean top notch for the "office staff"

then a few days later i asked to get some water, and was told no-but there was cold water in the toilet" by one of the office girls being a smart [censored]" i didnt even respond respond cuz i was so appaled.
anyway, a few days later they handed invitations to the xmas party, to be held on a boat, buffet from such and such a time and RSVP by a certain date.
so when one of the office staffers asked if i was attending I simple said no, then she asked why.
so i said no explanation required, then she pushed the issue.
So I said why the hell would I want to sit around a tableand eat with a bunch of people whom Im not good enough to use the same said people bathroom

if it's an issue of work boots messing carpets i can understand why. i hope they have proper facilities for the truckers to use. at the same time they were renovating they should have made a separate but decent servery for the truckers for coffee, water and so forth.

but i would have held my tongue, go to the party and de-de pan di table wid di centerpiece.

Bway Sue, mi noh kno whe wi fi duh wid yuh yuh noh.

Sue yuh remind mi ah di Auntie whe when di Preacher or Priest com visit di house, all di odda relatives nervouse an haffi bi pan dem toes, caa dem neva kno from wan minute tuh di next whe shi ah goh surprise dem wid.

Wow! What would possess folks to speak to somebody so?

I would say they are far from snobby. Anybody with a stitch of manners does not intentionally say things to make someone else feel uncomfortable. That's about as low class as you can get.
