What I'm getting at is that you can root out all the corruption you want, but under a so called &quot;free market system&quot; there will always be the few at the top who exploit the masses and pay off those in government to make sure it all stays that way. It is human nature after all!

So what are the occupy people really proposing if not a shift to a socialist state where the wealth is distributed more evenly among all.

humanity has reached a point where they must transcend these narrow labels or dichotomies; republican-democrat, right-left, pnp-jlp, conservative-liberal....
silly labels to keep people divided while a few reap everything...
certainly we are intelligent enough to think of better ways to have a more just society...deliberatley keeping ourselves dumbed down is pointless...

no.. there is the alternative of finance based on islamic principles.. borrowing is illegal....

the world is not america...though for nearly a centuary wall street and the other banking centers have dictated the financial health of the planet...

But a study of the financial history of hte world throws up suprises from the financing of the colonisation of the americas, to union of scotland and england.... even the japanese invasion has roots in finacial collapses and fear of finacial collaspae..
