FORMER host of the call-in programme 'The Public Eye', professor Aggrey Brown is dead.
Brown, who also served as Dean of Humanities and Education at the University of the West Indies (UWI), died in the Tony Thwaites Wing of the University Hospital of the West Indies this morning.

Brown was also a former director of the Caribbean Institute of Media and Communication (CARIMAC) at the UWI for 22 years.
He had been ailing for some time.
Brown was also a past headboy of Cornwall College and authored several books and articles.
