Happy Thanksgiving to you, too, Xavier. I am thankful for life, for my family and great friends - especially for all of my friends here on J'com and for the 13 years worth of friendship and love I have experienced here, for a beautiful home, and for all of the times God has literally carried me when I was unable to walk or function on my own. I have much to be thankful for, and I am glad to have a particular day to stop and take the time out to recall all of this.

I'm off to my friend's house in about half an hour, to celebrate the holiday at their home. She is doing most of the cooking... another thing to be thankful for. dwl I'm cooking a rolled turkey breast stuffed with braised fennel (there). I've already deboned and butterflied the turkey breast, and sliced the fennel bulbs (here). The hardest half of the work is already done.

I am thankful that I have not killed anybody in this house today. The day is still young though.
