I am very pleased to inform you of some wonderful news coming out of Munro College
1: Jacob Phillips - U6 Coke Farquharson is Jamaica's Junior Minister of Tourism 2011- 2012 and has been to St. Martin to represent Jamaica at the Caribbean Tourism Conference. He was accompanied by Mrs. Bromfield, his coach.
2: Jacob Phillips and Justin Johnson (Dickenson U6) will travel to France Nov 18 - 27, 20 to present the Global Travel and Tourism Partners (GTTP) winning research writing case study for Jamaica. Both young men emerged winners over even tertiary level institutions. PLEASE SEE THE ATTACHED FOR FURTHER DETAILS.
They will also be accompanied ny Mrs. Alcia Morgan-Bromfield who coached the winning pair.
3. Mrs. Alcia Morgan-Bromfield - Head of the Department of English has been selected as one of the top teachers in the country. The school has been infirmed by Jamaica Teaching Council that she is a recipient of The Excellent Teacher Award sponsored by Carlong Publishing House. The awards ceremony will be held at the Knutsford Court Hotel on Novemebr 23 at 11:00. Mrs. Bromfield will be away on national duties in France, however and will be unable to attend. She will collect same at a later date.
