Jesus came for the benefit of, and to save, <span style="text-decoration: underline">all of us</span>, regardless of race - so it's irrelevant what race He appeared as in His human form. You know that I believe he appeared as a white Jew, but there's no reason for us to argue the point since it's irrelevant, as I say. If He took the form of an African and a black man, so be it; that doesn't change the Good News one iota.
So... <span style="font-weight: bold">NO</span>, <span style="font-weight: bold">it doesn't matter</span> "if Jesus turned white to appeal to whites".
The message is what it is. It stands on it's own merit.
And the statue of liberty is <span style="text-decoration: underline">still</span> just a flippin' statue.
