So far neither party announced any 'platform' or agenda for the country that is supposed to convince the voter to vote for onee or the other.

The whole election is based on hype! That's it!
It's all about who's got the better election 'chune' a play pon de radio.
It's about getting the votes you know you will get just because you
always get them, and to bribe 'borderline' consituencies with free
t-shirt and one set a bangarang motorcade with more hype.

All I kow is not many Jamaicans who I have spoke to so far are happy this election was called. I am here for the last few days feverisly trying to rearrange my schedule around dis blastid election .

I am going this weekend through the new year, it never crossed my mind to change my plans, but then again all I do is eat and sleep so not much can mash dat up! I would prefer it wasn't election time, but I plan to enjoy myself as much as possible.

Well ..it all depends on what plans you had.. some of my plans are severely altered because of the decisions others made as a result of the election.

Mi might as well mi cut mi vacation short ...
