I had this email from a what it turns out is a reputable head hunter.. At first I thought another wannnabe I had a enjoyable exchange

I dont recall ever hearing of your organisation, but that may not be
that hurtful to you as I know few important people.

Since I have eaten all of my pigeons, they were bony, but curry is the
saving grace to all meats... So let us stick to the great waster of
time emails or telephone. I did try first nation smoke signals but
since u did not reply I guess the Taino tongue lose something in
translation !!!!

I am curious who would suggest me as some one to make contact with. I
ask as that seems only fair if we are to develop a relationship. But
I suspect that there is not someone out there reccommending me as a
person of influence, rahter I am part of a blind email of millions of
receipts from some site such as worlwide worker, rig zone or oil
careers, Expat Net work none of has never ever garnered me any contracts or
employment!.

Given my stoic aproach to life has probably dissuaged you to further

I am a dirty day rater and am coming to the end of a contract at the
moment, which I was told will be renewed.....so may be persuaded to
move if sweeteners are such that my child like desire for candy is

On the plus side I have drilled deep water isolated projects from Norway to Nambia
Mauretania to the Maldives.. (thats not true if I ever got to the
Maldives I never would return!)

Thank you for returning my email.

I'm sure you are too modest, and sadly, knowing me will not increase you stock of important people...

I too am a devotee of the Curry, coming as I do from the southern Caribbean. I bear no animosity to the Taino however, but you are right; I don't know their tongue or semaphore.

I assure you that you were &quot;fingered&quot; by a genuine individual who does have significant experience in Deepwater (mostly treading it some might say, but this would be unkind...). I have BCC'd him do he can react accordingly.

I too get quite a few offers via the usual suspects, but xxxxon Search &amp; Service has not yet advertised that way and when we do make contact it is because one of our colleagues will have suggested doing so.

I hope that I will be able to introduce you to opportunities in the next few months that will be of interest.
