...their votes in helping her to win X-Factor. She had a VERY strong push from the South Florida Jamaican community and the Caribbean community at large (Cuban, Haitian, Bahamian and Puerto Rican). On behalf of her family, they ALL want to extend their thanks to you all.

I'm just so happy for them because those of us who know what they went through know how sweet this sunshine is to them.

Melanie is awesome so it was easy to do What I also liked is that the caribbean community just showed the effect it can have when we all band together to support someone. Imagine what changes we could make if we banded together for positive changes in our communities.

she is awesome, and humble, sooo sweet.....Mutty america fell in love with Melanie, so Congrats to Melanie, her family, her friends, her supporters, and nuff nuff bigup!! she did an excellent job, and as she said in an interview, the first thing she plans on doing, is buying her family a house.....bigggupppppp Melanie

. I too was struck by her voice... My daughter and wife watch the program and I constantly told them that stop watching as Amaro will win. (I get irrated with the self centered nature of the particiapants...)

I think Simon knew the moment he heard her he had got a good property to market.. she is better than any of the judges who had commercial success..

. Tell her to get a good lawyer and multiple accountants to keep each honest.. to negoiate a better deal and to protect her interests....I wish her well and success.. And I hope she sticks with the boy friend.. It struck me in the origianl link rather than monopolise her... he sent her to hug her family.. shows an unselfish nature..

I wish her the best in the future... and hope the centrifugal familiy forces dont damage her...

her faith will be tested big time as she moves into the industry that is called music...fi real...the long extensions on her hair just the beginning..she will be retooled n i hope she can withstand the many pressures...her family unit will be tested big time...is eida divide n conquer r much undermining of values...or attempts to do so....wonda if Simon gwine to sign her to a British based label or office of di label....
