actually i would argue that is not true
under Micheal Manley the PNP moved to the left and flirted with socialism... when they returned to power in 89 the had moved back to the right (Micheal evel lost his Kariba suits) since then the PNP has been the party of big business. I think the Labour party in Jamaica in more in line with the philosophy of traditional UK labour parties.
