Re: VIRUS ALERT!!!!!!!!!!
It's just a version of koobface. Any idiot stupid nuff to go through all of those steps to infect oneself kind of deserves to lose one's computer. I mean, honestly! You have to install the damn trojan yourself! DWL
Besides - <span style="font-weight: bold">there is a fix</span>.
Read about the virus here on Hoax Slayer, or here and here on Snopes. Mr Witchy and I like Hoax Slayer over Snopes, actually...
And if you were stupid enough to actually install your own trojan... go here (Microsoft.com) to fix your computer; it's savable if you can follow simple instructions.

Re: VIRUS ALERT!!!!!!!!!!
Thank God I don't use MS Outlook!
Nothing can grab my contacts from my old reliable email program, Pegasus.
And thank God I'm smart enough to know better than to install a program (or the update of a program) that isn't really one I want!
I do my updates on weekends, when I do them in an orderly fashion, one at a time, paying close attention to what I'm doing.
