r u on FB...hope u r...mi want fi invite u to join a private group..dis one is really allowing people from di diffrant parties to engage in discussion..yeah man..mi did get invited to anodda one dat seh dem was dere to engage all discussion but dem disinvite me since mi neva echo all dem PNP rhetoric as fact... plus fi some reason dem never believe dat me was who mi is...all now mi no know how mi is not who mi parents name me as... cause on FB mi unda mi real name n all show mi picture......an how u can be having open discussion dat ongle bash one side...even a PNP Senator from deh did fren mi separately an den unfren me tru i guess i wasn't being partial but den mi tink it was juss to see wat info she could glean but dere is none to glean...as mi tell har, mi know people from before dem did know dem did wan enta politrix....heh heh...but dis one is di bomb..yeah man..di post election discussion is on n the beauty is people a really discusss,not juss insult...true, u have some jokers and uhave some diehards buttttt the discussions r flowing....so mi wan fi trow u into the mix...so r u on FB

Den Wally, I thought you were invited lang time ! I'm baffled by dis FB phenomenon. Every way mi tun, mi a get invite to join special group; at dis rate I could have belonged to many many groups. Are there limits to to the number of groups one can join? ; Just asking !..

if u really want to...the give and take between the party adherents run the gamut...but the overriding ting is dat dere is dialogue on the site....fi real...like i said, i was invited to one dat said it was fi yaadies who want to discuss ,put forth ideas etc etc fi the welfare of Ja...di moderator was a yaadie whose claim to fame was his degree n wat he achieved a farrin..mi no know if is mi name frighten him but him accuse me of being a spy... den di PNP senator befriend me...but my profile ongle seh wich HS mi go a yaad...mi no have no need fi tell how much degree, wat degree, wat job etc mi do...i am not my credentials after all..anyhoo wen dem realise mi was not a yes lady r willing to mek dem statements , partisan as they were on a supposedly non-partisan site n wen mi challenge my guy to prove dat who mi was who mi seh mi was, dem defriend me...den di Senator difriend me...matter of fact, smaddy wen mi know from di music days who seh dem work in PR defren mi cause dem posted dat dem hope Jcans will unite to work for a new day post election..all i asked was wat were the new factors or wat was missing y Jcans could not have united BEFORE di election fi a new day...dem seh mi was antagonistic etc..so mi apologise fi intruding pon dem MYOPIC patriotism..dem accept di apology until smaddy mussi define myopic fi dem..dem delete all di odda postings by mi except fi di original , not realising dat wid juss fi dem replies it look fishy...so wen mi ask y dem delete di rest n if it was to try to mek the dialogue look antagonistic pon my part, di smaddy defriend me....i swear i am amused ....

apart from my primary school group, my year at HS group , a up an coming musician group n dis new one i dont do a lot of groups...have never been a constant innane chatting person..have mi moments to be silly but neva been the chat fi kip in touch sort of person...

<span style="font-style: italic">Sorry for the delay in answering. I blown three Computers in the last week. Every time I post on jamaicans.com for extended periods my computer dies and I have to rebuild.</span>

I am not on Facebook.
I thought of joining many times but I might put my brothers and sisters at risk due the numbers of threats I have gotten over the years.
Another thing I was reading a comment on Jamaica Observer one day and I said this will cure I of ever wanting to be on FB.

According to the Commentator Jamaica Observer Comments was getting to be like FB. Everything had a religious tint to it. He said Jamaica on FB was like one big Pentecostal Church.......
That is when I knew I could never, ever, sign on to FB.

lol... u know i have been reviewing the Manifesto dem of the two parties ovah the years...one thing that is clear is that the PNP always talking bout 'change' n 'people power' wile JLP talks about 'building forward'....i have to post dem pon yah an see wat kine of discussion it start..fi real

I think you can write off the JLP Manifesto of 2012 (likewise the PNP of 2007), because it is clear they could not offer too much, giving the fact they had failed the IMF Tests and further failed on one of their central planks of jobs, jobs, jobs!

I became a member and think I am going to unfriend my self after 24 hours.. The level of debate is reminicesnt of the name calling I associate with yanki debate techniques, name calling as debate.... it is lower than a rum bar conversation....It may be due to the emotions of recent elections..So I will see if the discourse improves..

they never asked what school I went to .... It is not in my profile....

Yeah emotion raw since election...but u haffi admit dat at least dem still a go ahead wid both party represented wich naw happen pon most sites...u see y mi tink TG would a jump een cause him no tek no prisoner wen it come to di bak n fro... Lol

As it is now if and when I make a comment it is never considered .....It is more like who will he assault or insult next.....I guess I am like the JLP of Commentators.
BTW you did not answer my query about the Manifestos ...where are you reading them?
