True. We would all like to think we would react calmly and like brave heros when faced with a life threatening situation. But this ya captain sounds like he was drinking and sailing. Mi read say up to 30 minutes after the incident he was asking for food and drinks to be served to him.

Coast Guard to Captain: Get back pon de ship. Do it now - immediately.
