Help split the vote in the Republican Primary

<span style="font-size: 14pt">By making an extra effort to go out and specifically vote in the Republican Primary Election for say Ron Paul, you will nullify some of the votes that would go to say, Newt Gingrich, or one of the other front runners. However, by sitting home and wishing and hoping, you are actually adding votes to the front runners and helping to ensure their nomination/wins. You can always change back and vote for say, the Democratic candidate in the General Election when it comes around. This is not about voting for the Democrats, it is about keeping nuts out of the White House.

With proper strategy, you can beat those crazy Republicans at their own game.

These pimaries are for<span style="text-decoration: underline"> registered Republicans</span> (Your Voter ID card would say that)

If your voter Id says anything else you cant vote in these primaries or what J_Kid post up top would happen .. votes get skewed to muck up the process

Only already declared absentee ballot applications would be locked, in at this time. If yuh not voting absentee, yuh can cross over an vote in any pimary.

Absentees haffi declare pan di &quot;request for absentee ballot application&quot; wen dem get it sen tuh dem.

Di declaration is more of a bookeeping ting as far as, non-absentee voters goh.

Some states (like Virginia) dont allow you to register as a Republican - so there is no registration list to check against and Dems can vote in the GOP primary as well [ link

Yes, there are slight variation in SOME states, and di Repubs are tricky, so check wid yuh state's recent election laws.

You are correct.. but in the states where these primaries are being held (Iowa, SC, NH etc) allow registration by law

Q. Do I have to be a registered Republican to participate in the Republican Presidential Primary?
A. No, S.C. does not have registration by party. The Presidential Primary is open to all registered S.C.
voters.

motivated ppl already doing this. the level of voter apathy has allowed the special interest to hijack the democratic process....i start thinking that democracy no longer works

so dat is closed primary?...the answer to the question sey SC have <span style="font-weight: bold">open</span> primary. the answer seems clear to me..but then i live in canada and we dont have that system....
