The last few times he was on he sounded off.. His riposte were less barbed.... I lsiten to him 3 4 times a week for about half an hour.. I notice they dont say he will be back tommorow....

On thursday last week Ms Williams did say he was going to be back on monday... Yesterday she said once or twice he would be back...

He is gettign long in the tooth.. .I love his combativeness but he is getting slow... Last year he let Raulston Hymen get away with alot when he was on his program....

Despite what any one says, the man is world class.... He is funny, sharp and he loves women.. His self deprication helps...

so when we are called sheep by a yanki and our journalist are crap.... I get angry.. I get compative and want to get Green Bay.. But then Mutty would tell me not to....

The last few months with the elections and everything I made a conscious effort to tune in to his show to hear the runnings. I've been able to listen to the stream of the show on my smart phone while at work and sometimes even in the car. The wonders of technology I tell you. Yes I've noticed he is not as sharp. There were a couple of times when his voice would trail off as if he was losing his train of thought in the middle of the conversation but the man is 80 years old. Not many people that age can carry on a detailed conversation at that level for 4 hours daily. Hope he recovers and he can still do it but I think he should get a co host to help him run the show.

me naa go miss him, he gets on my last nerves,

he seems to think homos are ok,
he seems to think and give the criminals a break, ohhh because dem no have no breaks, get the hell away....nuff more poor country deh, and de crime is not half as bad as Ja,

Joan Williams a do a much better job, besides, being bright and funny, she should def think of running it for a while,

i do hope mutty gets better, and can even call into the program, but fe him time is up man, give it up Mutty

He's at the stage now where he struggles to remember his facts, his speech is soooo drawn out. I stopped lisrening to him at work because he literally places me in a slumber.

I do enjoy the show when Ms. Williams is hosting.

No disrespect to Mutty. He did well but it's obvious to me and many others that it's time to hand the mic over to someone who can bring in a breath of fresh air.

there is no shortage or competing voices...there are many other radio stations in Jamaica ...he does not have to step aside to allow other voices to be heard...anybody looking for a different view can change the station.

Mutty Perkins is to Jamaican Talk Radio as Barry G is to Jamaican Entertainment radio.. possibly more.
as usually, its likely that he'll need to have passed on before he's truly recognize for his enormous contribution to the media and his unique gift/talent.
