Years ago i was telling people that my younger dawta had an accent localized to the neighbourhood we lived in - it came out when she was with her friends.

this video may be a little too local for an international board like jcans.com but the guy gets the "catty" (didnt even know they were called that) vibe down SOLID! actually makes me miss my dawta.

Young Torontonians for the most part, have an accent that is a really peculiar meld. It's threaded with a Jamaican accent and many Jamaican and Southern American idioms but with a few 'eh's thrown into make it Canadian.

true dat, nunya. the point at 2:30 with the vees and the pose to show they feeling good, have seen O do that. plus the whole thing about going to jams and quibbling about the price, and their love of dancing with their friends.

my older daughter didnt have as much of that vibe, so her way of talking is different.
