If som outside criticism is warranted, den so bi it.

Wi all kno dat in many of our communities there is a bad situation going on. Making excuses, or getting upset for others pointing this out, or for them making recommendations, will not help solve di problem.

Communities thrive on businesses prospering. If people's perceptions are negative towards it, and they are scared to come in di community, or go out at night, it will eventually wither and die.

Two men have been charged in the murder of an east-end barber.

Toronto police say Kevin Perez, 27, and his brother Christopher Perez, 22, have been charged with 1st-degree murder in the death of 35-year-old Chris Thompson who was gunned down at the Cut Creator barber shop in the Malvern Town Centre, while he tended to a customer.

Police say the arrests came after they executed a number of search warrants in Toronto, Ottawa and Orillia on Monday. Three firearms, a quantity of ammunition and cocaine along with stolen property were seized.

The brothers are also facing weapons and drug related charges.

Police say a man entered the barber shop on January 24 and fired several shots at Thompson, who died at the scene.

Police say three others were arrested but have not been charged in connection with Thompson's murder. They are facing weapons and stolen property-related charges.

Police say Kevin is believed to be the shooter that was seen on surveillance footage recorded outside the shop.

The two are expected to appear in court on Tuesday.

because i get upset that people inside our community are ready to jump to unwarranted conclusions about violence in our community, does not equate to me denying the cause of violence in our community.

now MG, back to wha our other brothers were talking about, and its a huggeee huggge problem in our black communities, and its black on black crime, yes this time it might have not been one of our own, but in most cases it is our own, and we must do something now about this, its scary when u see it reaching our schools, this have me very frightened,
