God Save The Queen

Today marks the 60th year of her reign.

We still cling to the hem of her garments even though you need a hard-to-get visa to go and see her.

you remember that in the 70s they had done away with idea that the GG should be knighted...but as soon as Manley lost in 1980 the GG ran off to get his.

at east they still not clinging to the OBE and MBE ting.

Certainly nothing to be proud of. I wonder how his kids/grandkids feel when they look at that photo?

in most cases they are very proud of it.(at least the ones i know)

heh heh....socialism was ovah for him wen it came to getting knighted...fi real...Labour kept him on as GG and he got over his scruples of his party...

I want to see a really close copy of the official picture of Queenie...in the backdrop is Victoria's statue thingie but wat i REALLY want to see upclose is the diamond necklace she has on...said one Victoria wore at her Jubilee..i want to see those diamonds up close....they must be fabulous....so many of my ancestors died fi dem diamonds so i want to see dem upclose...
