This brings up a point I have been thinking about for some time now.

There are a lot of folks out there who are hurting. Maybe they lost a job, then a home, then a marriage, perhaps turning to alcohol or drugs to escape their new reality. A lot of them ending up in far worse places than a swanky Beverly Hills hotel at the end of their lives. We never hear about them because they were everyday people like you and I. Then I think to myself, &quot;there but for the grace of God go I&quot;. It keeps me humble.

As far as Whitney goes.... I feel sorry for her, just as I feel sorry anyone suffering from drug and alcohol abuse, including those in my own family. As someone who has been blessed and has never suffered from an addiction I can not speak on the matter much except to say that perhaps she did not have a choice, addiction I believe can be a hell of a thing to break for some people and in some cases it can be overwhelming.

I too am getting a bit tired of the media overkill but I will tune in to her funeral this afternoon and watch the celebrities pay homage to a woman who had God given talent and who also worked hard to get to the top of her profession.

I pray that her death will serve as another red flag to the everyday people suffering from addiction that in the end it will not provide a temporary escape from the turmoil in your life, instead it will only serve to destroy you and those you leave behind.

I have alot of the same thoughts and prayers Milo, unfortunately like the ones that went before her I think her death will fall on deaf ears...

I am watching the funeral as I type and the MEDIA has been and will continue to be on OVERKILL!

Yes the funeral and celebration of life services is airing live right now.Great to see Bee Bee and Cee Cee. I attended one of Cee Cee's concerts in Toronto and it was a great blessing.

I didn't know Tyler Perry could preach. WOW!!

Just realizing this style of worship has grown on me. I remember when I used to have conversations with CEW that it was outside my zone of comfort. I guess there is room for growth in everyone.
