Not sure if this was posted before. Do you think these are appropriate for a year book?

Durango - A high school senior in Colorado has sparked a debate after editors disallowed her two photo submissions to the yearbook. The editors said the first photo of the girl in short skirts and tight tops was not appropriate for a high school yearbook.
The first photo showed 18-year-old Sydney Spies posing with her left shoulder and midriff exposed. NY Daily News reports Durango High School student editors explained that the editorial policy was that students must be appropriately dressed with their chests, backs and abdomens fully covered. According to student editor Brian Jaramillo, "we are an award-winning yearbook. We don’t want to diminish the quality with something that can be seen as unprofessional."
But according to Spies, seniors are allowed to submit photos that reflect their interests. Spies explained when she appeared on NBC's The Today Show Monday: "...people have their sports pictures, pictures with their horses or guitars. That's (dancing and modelling) my interest."
The second photo, in black and white, showed Spies in a one-piece that bared most of her legs and exposed some cleavage. The pose in this photo is somewhat more suggestive than the other, and it was also rejected by the yearbook committee.
