ehhh, mek dem so teef,

me friend and her family went to canada for her cousins funeral (chrissy the barber) and one of her cousins in the vehicle had a prior DWI that was from 2008, and case done and tek care of,

so mek dem a ask de yute to pay $1000???

den, after dem dig up everybody and how much hours later, dem say, ok, him can $200 ???

no man, me did tink more highly of canada -

u ever hear nutten go so???

some ppl have enhance license, greeen card, citizen, but this guy was a citizen, that was the only mark on his records,

i was shocked, is not like its an outstanding warrant, me lost???

which border (location) were they crossing? did he get a receipt for the payment?

did they give him the option of going back to the US?

ohh yeah, they said the whole vehicle, bout 10ppl had to go back, if dem no pay de $1000,

they have many many border crossing.. 4 in the buffalo/niagara region...den dem have crossings out by thousand island etc

were they bringing likka?

I'm getting the feeling that he was scammed. Any money paid might have went into the pocket of a rogue immigration officer.

I hope you did get an official receipt and a way to learn the identity of the officer. I would report this incident because it don't sound right to me.
