Let me tell you - on so many levels, this case is a thing to behold.

If people would just stop and think.

After Clementi committed suicide, Ravi knew he was going to feel some heat. So he went back and deleted the texts he made in asking peeps to watch the camera feed of the 2 dudes making out.

Baxcide - weeks later, Verizon went back and pulled up the deleted tweets and the prosecutors used them against him in the trial.

I know that digital stuff doesn't really completely die but I swear, I didn't know that applied to texts as well.

Now this guy may face deportation because of this conviction!!

(CNN) -- Dharun Ravi, a former Rutgers University student accused of spying on and intimidating his gay roommate, was found <span style="font-weight: bold">guilty Friday on charges of invasion of privacy, but jurors found him not guilty on several charges of bias intimidation.</span>

Ravi, 20, had been on trial on a 15-count indictment that included charges of bias intimidation, invasion of privacy, tampering with physical evidence, witness tampering and hindering apprehension.

His roommate, Tyler Clementi, an 18-year-old freshman, killed himself in September 2010 by jumping off the George Washington Bridge, which spans the Hudson River between New York and New Jersey, after learning that Ravi had secretly spied on his sexual encounter with another man.

Prosecutors also offered to help Ravi avoid deportation, though they said they could not guarantee it. Ravi, who had been studying on a visa at the New Jersey university, did not testify on his own behalf.

After all is said and done tho (if there's no mandatories) I don't think they'll give him the boot or serious jail time. Maybe probation.

Yuri, all it takes is a court order to get the txt msgs from the wireless company. There has to be a lawsuit of some kind and the txt msgs would need to be relevant to the case.

I doubt that Indian guy is going to get any serious time in this case.
