Mali coup - Africom recolonization operation

The leader of a military coup in the West African country of Mali received military training in the United States on “several” occasions, a U.S. defense official said Friday.

Capt. Amadou Haya Sanogo, who led a renegade military faction that on Thursday deposed Mali’s democratically elected president, visited the United States several times to receive professional military education, including basic officer training, said Patrick Barnes, a U.S. Africa Command official based in Washington.

Shocking as it may seem, Mali's coup leader, Captain Amadou Haya Sanogo, had been given US military and intelligence training by the US Africa Command, through the US State Department-sponsored International Military Education and Training program.

The narrative is that Tuareg fighters returning from fighting for Gaddafi in Libya were stirring up trouble in Mali and the elected government of President Amadou Toumani Toure was not aggressive enough in combating the rebels in the north. Being a good patriot, Sanogo's soldiers took matters into their own hands.

so tuaregs returning from libya causing instability in mali?
how long will it be before niger becomes de-stabilized?

US troops already on the ground in uganda....can bet they are in congo too...

africom starting to warm up & do stretching excercises...

it's going to get very interesting

IF you look at armies across the world it is likely that almost every one has officers with US or UK training.

It would be interesting to here the exact nature of the training.

maybe this is like when they say the shooter in France the the day traveled to Afghanistan for training.

Yes it will be, The West is moving to forestall China growth, by trying to lock up Africa's mineral wealth. I love how China is helping to industrialize Africa, something the West has never done or encourage except where whites are in control.

There were US operatives in Jamaica in the 70s. If you look at the training material coming out of US agencies in the 70s, the US was concerned with teaching people patois. Since then it could care less. Laurie Gunst in her book gives some experiences along this line..
