I'm now doing some heavy-duty fund-raising.
There it is: We are now raising funds for my major mailer piece, robocalls, my palm cards, and drop-lit flyers.
I am having a fund-raiser dinner April 26th, at the traditional Italian restaurant in town that all municipal politicians here hold their fund-raiser dinners. Tickets are $50 apiece.
Anyone may donate larger or smaller amounts of money, of course. Every dollar counts! Anybody who seriously wants to donate some money to my campaign should just PM me, and I'll type the info that Election Law requires I get from you into a PM reply, and you can snail-mail me a check.
Donations are gratefully accepted and properly appreciated!
Every time I turn around there are another five things left to do... plus another ten things looming!
I spent this morning numbering the backs of the invitations/tickets because the printer forgot (failed) to do it
, stamping and sealing the envelopes, taking them to the post office to be mailed, and dividing upamongst my campaign staff and myself all of those invitations to be hand delivered instead of mailed.
I walked door-to-door at lunchtime.
Soon it'll be time to go back out walking door-to-door again, for the evening.

I will wear suits if I must. But I simply cannot walk in heels. Period. I'm not about to try to break my spine in more places than it's already broken. And I'm sure as hell not gonna go back into a wheelchair... not over pretty shoes!
