And folks worrying about him getting off, even with a favourable Florida Law and the fact that he is kookoo for coco puffs. If the Prosecution gets a jury of Treyvon's Peers, he is going to prison. The prosecution can attck by asking just who was standing their ground.

No but it's sends the message that this case is being taken very lightly. $150,000 is a joke. This case has been botched from the beginning and it is as if the authorities are deliberately trying to fuel racial tension.

If the authorities don't watch it, they are going to spark another &quot;long hot summer&quot; a la 1967 when 159 race riots erupted across the nation. It's the last thing the US economy needs and it will derail the fragile recovery for years.

Some boardites weren't born yet and others were in Jamaica. I know this was the year before Jamaica had the ban on Black Power and Black consciousness books but I am sure the Shearer administration would not have been eager to have widespread coverage on JBC.

Lest we forget.

It seems that the authorities have forgotten.

If Zimmeman overstood the above. Treyvon would be alive today. He judge him, tried to apprehend him when he had zero reason to.....it led to a killing.

Drudge have one pic pon him website of Zimmerman with blood flowing down the back of his head. Right-wingers don't even want this to reach trial and pushing for the case to be thrown out under stand your ground. It still comes down to who initiated this confrontation. I dont think Trayvon who was only a few feet away from his house would have turned around and attacked Zimmerman as Zimmerman alleges.
