the bouncy Stonehenge, in Glasgow til May 7. by artist Jeremy Deller. it's called "Sacrilege". he insists it's not political, merely absurd because it's strictly for the joy and entertainment of people unable to get up close to the real Stonehenge. he also says it's reinflated every day, and that the spectacle of all those life-sized stones going up is like watching several erections.

would so love it if this came to Canada. but the artist made it specially for the London Olympics, and the exhibit is slowly making its way there.

It's great to see Glaswegians of all ages having fun at this Stonehenge:

Dont go Glasgow...

But the children would love it....

I love stone circles.. there are dozens where I live not on the same scale of stone henge.. this summer I am off to the orkneys to see their large one!

I still think like all great things Stonehenge started as a drunken, ergot induced lark...

A group of men fed up with nagging wives were have a drink down the prehistoric pub.. one asked what we can do next summer to get out the house....

After abuse they agree it was a good idea..
Another one a hunter who had a fling with a welsh girl the previous year volunteered that htye should use Wesh Granite rather than the local stone from down the road....
