In his apology he said he thought that Trayvon was just a few years younger than him. On the 911 tapes, he said that "suspicious guy" looked like he was in his mid to late teens.

int he bail hearing it was just a statement...no rebuttal or cross examination.

it was a bail hearing, and they don't usually involve all that extra stuff like the apology etc, its usually about the bail, how much, denied or granted.

most likely the discrepancy will be front and center at the trial (if it gets to a trial)
