for pain in my left trapezoid muscle area and my wrist. Doctor sticks a needle into my shoulder/neck region filled with cortisone. When he did, he apparently hit a nerve, then when he stuck the needle in my wrist, he hit the same darn nerve again.

Now I have had many cortisone shots over the years and within 10 minutes, I feel relief coming on. This time, the pain qudrupled and within 1 week, my left arm and hand was disabled.
This is what my hand looked like for a month after the shot:

So after dealing with the pain for about a week, i finally ended up in an ER out of State while on a mini-vacation:

Soft cast, shots in the rear and lots of meds.
Within 1 month due to my arm and hand being totally dead, I've lost 50% muscle mass in the arm:
You can see the difference:

Grip strength on the good right arm is 155, on the left.....I could not even grip the machine.
It's been six weeks since the idiot gave me the shot, stuck the nerve and pumped cortisone into it....I'm going thru physical therapy now, still eating pain meds daily and hoping to get my arm back.
I'm still unable to even grip and hold a small glass or cup filled with liquid.
Be careful when getting a shot for pain in certain regions. Make sure the Doctor is specially trained to stick you in that region. Nerve pain is hell people and I wish it on no one.
