Dean of discipline beaten by students in St. Ann


Gavin Myers, Dean of Discipline at Aabuthnott Gallimore High School in Alexandria, St Ann, was hospitalised after he was attacked and beaten by a group of students who were reportedly expelled from the school sometime ago.

According to reports Mr. Myers was trying to remove the handful of past Grade 11boys from the premises when he was stabbed several times. He also sustained a leg injury.

Frightened students ran for cover during the brawl.

Mr. Myers was reportedly assisted to hospital by a parent.

National Coordinator for the Safe School Programme Sergeant Coleridge Minto confirmed the attack Investigators are trying to determine the identities of the boys involved in the incident, as well as that of several adults who accompanied the teenagers to the school compound.

back in my days we wouldn't even dare come school late and especially if devotion start, let alone seh we a lick nuh teacher.
