All Eldermires in Jamaica come from one family that came of a ship from Germany in 1834. It is a German name. And for the record, in Jamaica blacks don't just marry blacks. We inter-breed.

Mister Shearer's first wife was RC and would not divorce him..that is y he worked soo hard to have the divorce laws in Jamaica changed...his liasion wid di Miss Jamaica was a long one...he had outside children n i have stated on her dat wen one married in NY bak in the 70s and the Star carried a middle page insert covering the nuptials, Jcans made much ado ala Yendi ,re poor taste since she was di outside pickney n it look bad fi di PM get pon blast dat way....it was not until Joshua dat outside children non status was changed...i was surprised at after alll dem years him n di Miss Jamaica neva married...di marriage to di Dr Eldemire lady took me by surprise but den i wasnt keeping up wid him by den

So Mr. Shearer was bad.....but Mr. Shearer is dead and gone.
He was one of the greatest Leader Jamaica had in terms on doing for the economy.
Comrade Leader Portia Simpson-Miller is here she so has been very poor leader. The Economy is failing, the budget cannot be read and we are getting is more travel and tribalism.

I think right now Jamaica would do well with a Mr. Shearer....who walked away from politics at what must be considered baby age, when compared to old folks such Comrade Simpson-Miller!

Hugh Shearer was a brilliant man..might not have had the pedigree education but he came up thru the trade union n knew of wat he spoke...he was one of dem streetsmart Jcan....instinctive like crazy...his only foible to moi was his inability to pronounce film n funeral correctly...juss could not...go figga....his private life was no worse dan Joshua...his wife's RC adherence kept him tethered while Joshua could get his wives to agree to di divorces...
