Love watching this especially around 2:15 when they are mixing one of the first reggae songs I ever heard and still one of my favourite None Shall Escape the Judgement by Johnny Clarkes. Bunny Lee kills me when he starts dancing. He has a son in Toronto.

Wow just found the first reggae song I ever heard. I was with my cousins on a visit back to Jamaica when I heard it. Beautiful. Listen to the falsetto voice at the end. The Chosen Few huh? I got to research them.

I've been trying to find this one for years. I have it on an old cassette. I had no idea who sung it though:

At the time I didn't even understand the significance of what they were singing. I am learning that Dilinger sung a lot of the early songs I liked. Finally found Healing Stream by Dillinger. I love the rhythm but unfortunately on Youtube it's on a mix with the original and those were horrible lyrics. What a waste of a rhythm.

Found one of the dubs....finally. Since I didn't know the name and who did it took years to find it.

Redemption song and War are great. I don't remember ever hearing Babylon System.

Okay so we add 1/2 a point for chocolate, 1 point for Manley....we agree re: need for socialism...but that is why they didn't want Rodney and one bonus point for your Bob Marley pikcks.

Ever since I saw the pigs my older cousin's boyfriend was keeping at my grandmother's place when I was a teen, I got turned off. Nasty animals in the mud...yuck. I haven't had pork since.

So let's agree to disagree re: race, it's the only thing we fight about, and let's hug and make up.

Maybe if the pigs were kept in cleaner conditions. Every time I go to my Mom's house and she serves pork she says &quot;Wh'appen you tun Rasta?&quot; and I have to tell her the story all over again.

I have never served it and my ex doesn't eat it. My son has had it at my Mom's house and his Aunt's house (fathers's side) and he likes it. Strange huh? I guess it is back on the family menu for coming generations.
